I see somethings listed as 'seconds' what does that mean?
Something sold as seconds means it is discounted due to a small aesthetic imperfection but it still functional and serves its intended purpose. For instance it could be a small chip or crack, uneven glazing, rough bottom, etc. Please make sure to read the description of any item you are purchasing so you clearly understand what condition the item is in.
Where do you ship?
Currently, I'm only shipping to Canada. Sorry!
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes, if you're located in the Ottawa/Gatineau area simply select the local pickup option at checkout. You will receive an email when your order is ready for pickup (usually in 2-4 business days) with further instructions.
Why are shipping cost high?
Shipping costs are calculated by weight by Canada Post. Ceramics tend to be heavy due to the nature of the materials used.
What’s your return policy?
No returns will be accepted unless the item arrived severely damaged. Photo proof would be required if this is the case. For more info, please see Return Policy.
My order doesn’t look like the photo shown.
All my pieces are handmade and therefor one-of-a-kind. I do my best to try and ensure the product photography reflects its uniqueness and is as close to seeing it in person as possible.
Do you take commissions?
As an amateur potter taking request can be tricky, but I'm happy to chat about producing something special for you if your expectations are flexible. Feel free to submit a commission request here.
Are your pieces food safe?
Yes. All stoneware and glazes are lead free and food safe unless stated otherwise in the product description. Please see Use + Care for more info on how to care for your new piece.
Are your pieces dishwasher safe?
Yes. They are all dishwasher safe, however, dishwasher detergent will break down the glazes over time. To get the longest life out of your pieces, hand-wash with mild dish soap. Please see Use + Care for more info on how to care for your new piece.
Are your pieces microwave or oven safe?
Please see individual product page as some glazes may contains metallics that make it unsafe to microwave.
